We've given up on water lilies because they become infested with little bluish-colored aphids. They'll cover the leaves. You can wash them off; fish don't seem interested in eating them. Next day they've crawled back on the leaves again. Anyone have a solution?

I just wash them by splashing water on the leaves. it is a pain and cannot be avoided as far as I know.

I have not seen any damage from them, I imagine they do feed off the plant or they would't be there.

maybe the aphids give some extra protein to your fish..............lol
Lilies are pretty I wouldnt worry about the aphids imo
