hi can anybody help me i have just gone out to my pond and i have seen loads of these [ATTACH]3433[/ATTACH] they are yellow and crawl and jump but verry small

Take one out, photograph it using your macro feature on the camera against a black background and maybe we can figure out what it is.

thay are to small to take a pic ov thay are yellow crawl and jump thay look a bit like them green fly av just googled it and a came bake with this name SAN JOSE SCALE

i dont think its scale they are a problem on fruit trees but i wouldnt think they would be in a pond ...unless anyone else knows more

a no a was finking that but they only bin in the pond when it is raining or has rained am sure my pond will be OK

i had a close look in my pond last night and i found something like you have it was just a tiny speck but itwas or rather they were jumping on top of the water rather like pond skaters do... i havent a clue what they are anyone know ?

av never seen them b4 apart from wen it as rained am sure they cant be that much of a problem well i hope they are not
