Fish related, just not pond fish related.

I've been quarantining some Loaches (4 Clowns and 3 Yoyos) to move to a
couple of other tanks. I've read that you have to be careful netting the
Clowns due to the spines around their eyes, which they use as a defence
against other fish. It seems they're a pretty good defence against humans
too. Two of the Clowns were in one of the PVC shelters on the bottom of the
tank, so I decided to just grab the tube and put in the bucket I was using
to acclimate them to the new tank. Well putting my fingers over the end of
the tube was not such a good idea. Something very pointy stuck my thumb
pretty good and made it bleed a bit before it stopped. :-)
