It was a low budget build with acquired parts... customized Bio filter has 4" 400micon socks bottle brush wall @ k3 media in fist stage... second stage is trickle up through bio balls covered by matala corse and medium 2" mat. top of mat has aragonite coral to help kh buffer.

Planning and Construction
3.5 feet deep 11ft x 7ft about 2500 Gallons. Cement with epoxy paint.
3600 gph pump with 75watt UV. primary filter is pressurized Bead filter (Advantage 10) mixer valve diverts 900gph through trickle Biofilter. skimmer pump runs on a timer and provides 1" columnated Baccus spitter.
