My last 2 koi. The great blue heron nabbed a couple last year. I may get a yellow and black butterfly this year

Here are my goldfish. The great blue nabbed a couple of them last year too. But the way they breed it does not make a dent. They always take the better looking ones. I do not mind. They are only doing what they do.

Very nice @RobAmy , You have a ton of goldfish!! I keep hoping for babies but then I remember my pond is only 450+ gallons so it would be overstocked in very little time at all if they started breeding.

I like the way you have the water flowing off the rock into the pond . Is the spillway rock on top of rocks sitting above the liner to prevent water loss? Curious how you have that set up?
@Gordo33 I just have a 2" flex pvc line sitting on the rock, the top rock just holds and hides the pipe. The bottom rock has a natural concave so the flow works really nice. Everything except the top rock is still within the pond liner. If the spillway backed up it would still flow into the pond but you would not see it. The flex pipe comes over the liner about 5" but the force makes it impossible to back up. Everything is pitched towards the pond, rock and pipe included. Hope that makes sense.

This is something I added after for more filtration. I added two Savio filters inline and this is the exit for them. My fish load is a bit high and the frequent visit by the ducks I need a bit more.

Just gorgeous ! I too love how the water spills over the rock. I need to work on something to camouflage the white PVC return from my sand & gravel filter this year.

Your 2 koi are big !!!

Are those filters for added Dimensions (L x W x H): 23.4″ × 22″ × 30.5″? The filter barrels look huge. How many gallons of water can each hold. Your pond and stream look awesome!
@Gordo33

Yes I added them for added mechanical or biological filtration. I believe they hold 30 gallons or so

They claim they can filter up to 5,000 gallon water feature or 2,000 gal koi pond recommended pump flow 500 - 3,000 gph.

Same for the waterfall filter except that can go to 5000 gph max

Dimensions (L x W x H): 23.4″ × 22″ × 30.5″

I have a total of 4 filters. I figured the minimum @ 2000 gal each, for a total of 8000 gallons for filtration.
