Yep, I just dislike killing, "innocent " lil things.....but after 32 fish eating snakes I am a don't grieve/care stage.

Leave the body out for someone to snack on.

DAYUM Addy, I was hoping that chapter was over and done with! Let me talk to the owl and see if I can rent her out. Then again, that sucker maybe too big. Sure hoping that was a solitary visitor.

Time for a ca addy even if it's a outdoor cat the mice and snakes will be done for.
Unknown fact cats can move 4 times as fast as a snake and at best only with a three foot strike. A cat cat jump or swat at a snake with ease.
The only cat that gets struck by a snake is one dumb cat

Well darn it anyways! Just glad you caught it and now you can keep those traps activated so any others that show up can get gone also.

A cat would drive your pups nuts, lol! Would also sit under your bird feeders and wait for the kill!

Maybe just get a Mongoose!

We have a bunch of feral cats that hang around. They are welcome to all the snakes they can catch.

So far they have not wiped out these snakes.

I was unlocking the front door and hubby yelled snake! Copperhead right in front of the door. I put glue traps on either side of the porch. Guess he's after the birds with all the feeders out there.
I realize not everyone has a fondness for snakes, especially the venomous ones, but please - don't use glue traps. They are horribly cruel, no matter what you're catching on them. If you want to get a snake to move on, just give it a light spray with a cool hose & he'll leave.
