I use one of those snake grabbers, my friend holds open a pillow case. Toss it in, tie a knot. Large pillow case.

Take it to the farm pond, untie dump, at least then they leave as fast as they can.

I was hoping for none this year, no such luck.

Haven't seen ours lately. Seeing lots of fry in the pond but goldfish have been spawning ever other week! Seeing some larger ones with multiple colors- thinking koi spawned before I rehomed them!

I hate snakes of any kind after my run in with one that jumped up at me on my lawn mower and riped open my leg . I never want to see another snake again . Not sure if the snake was just having a bad day or had it out for me , but he sure got chopped up after by my lawn mower blades . I had to wash all my blood off my lawn mower when i got home from the ER . It was just a black snake but a nasty one . I was mowing and did not see hm until he jumped up and and got my leg . What kind of snake is that incase I see one here and is it poison biter

I see tiny fry. Medium fry etc. . I am feeding more than I usually do. Soon will let them go back to foraging in the pond.

Getting replacement fish for the snake eaten fish. I lost over 200 that first summer of the snake invasion.

Have a nice collection again. A lot of different colored fish.
Frogs again.

I have no dislike of them. Just trying to live. Just not in my pond.

A bit, right now more than last summer, less than the years before. So far no big mama! They can drop up to almost 100 live babies. Usual up to 30.

These are either young or boys.

Here is big mama and daddy making kids, I had no clue what was coming. I would not have been just taking pictures.

I did catch two big ones. Found one as a skeleton in the yard.
So three a few years back. I have not seen another, but am still catching the boy size or young females.

I have seen more snakes this year than ever before . I have been here since 2004 and only ever saw 2 snakes and one died to my lawn mower . Is it the heat and humidity . We are supposed to go down in temperature by this weekend . Down to the 70's with the cooler temps coming from the north of me . Can't wait . Maybe get more lawn work done . Two big thunderstorms yesterday but no rain with them , just alot of noise and light show . Scared my 2 chihuahuas though .

I like snakes as long as they aren't poisonous and don't eat my fish! I'm glad we don't get all those like you guys that live w/hot summers. We are too cold here in Summer for them on this west side of our mountains thankfully! I would not handle it well if we did, yikes!
