I set my lillies free.

Have 22 oil pans now empty. Great for pond plants. I have grown the lilies in them since 2010.

If you live near and want to pick up. Let me know.

I used the floating ropes to be able to grab and pull out.

Could you perhaps donate them to a botanical garden? I bet one of them would love to have those containers for their water gardens.

WOW! Bold move woman! Tell us your thought process here.
Ummmmm, less work and less work, less body pain and the 1000 gallon pond has free running lilies, they grow better, bloom better then the potted ones.

Right now they look like it is spring , huge healthy leaves, huge beautiful flowers. The big pond ones all looked ragged, minimal flowers. the dieing fall look.

I have Colorado a great bloomer a great grower, it is being put deep. The rest scattered around.

No I left the root masses and any litter alone. Didn't rinse the litter off the plants. One did break loose need to tie a rock to it.

Good to know if they have big roots attached no need to weight them down!

Is there concern for them hurting your liner? I wasn't so sure plants could go through waterproof plastic, but I have a pickerel that seems to have literally punched its way through the side of its pot.

No concern, their roots are soft.

Pickerel has ruptured pots, those with a hole, root goes through, splits the pot. But has never harmed the liner.
