Ok, so I don't have a "pond", as much as i have an outdoor aquarium.
Its only 40 gallon....
Question...
Is this too small to put goldfish in?
Common, Comet, Shubunkin(sp?)?
I have a filter running and am pushing about 175-200 gph through a powerhead that bubbles out the top like a fountain.
I only have 2 hyacinth at the moment and am looking to get a couple more, along with some water lettuce and an umbrella palm. Too crowded for goldies?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
Also, thanks to everyone who has given advice on my other questions!!!

Get a few fan tails, pick out small ones, they grow slowly. Like two.
And they are fun to watch.

Ok...
So this is my "pond."
I've got a couple mosquito fish in there and MAY go for a fantail or two but am concerned with their extreme by products of living. (LoL)
Perhaps some rosy reds will find their way in also...
Who knows?
Thanks for all the advice everybody!

That's adorable!!!! Very nice!
Thanks.
My daughters love it.
I picked up a nifty submersible LED bar that illuminates just enough to supply the perfect ambiance.
As for "the itch."
I'm currently investigating preforms...
Time will tell.

As with boats (two footitis), and homes (square footitis), the pond bug is catchy! I made a big jump from a preformed 185 gallon to a 1500 gallon lined pond. Of course I'm still learning, but the experience I gained on the smaller one has helped greatly. My shubunkins are 10-12 years old, and the only fish I've ever lost was a new addition last fall. He lodged himself in the rocks and expired.
