A pretty great day at the river

me and my father ended up going to a local river and we found some pretty neat things



Mostly a bunch of sticklebacks and a humongous clam which I was honestly shocked to find as they're were hundreds of them all laying on the gravel.



There's also some sort of weird tiny sucker like fish that lives only in the big like area of the river which is nearly impossible to get to. The ones I caught didn't survive the trip home unfortunately.

Great to have a trip like that with your dad. My dad took us to the woods, beaches, hiking, always exploring what was around. Tidal ponds was his favorite place to check out.
