A snack from the stream

Taken yesterday. This Bluejay finds a caterpillar in the stream. It was very cold, about 20 degrees. Due to the colder weather the stream has been very active with birds lately.

I thought about you and your skills Sunday Rob. We were in the low 20's this weekend and there were 2 bluejays in our small waterfall and the area around the pond. For one thing it was too cold to go out to TRY and take any photos and I figured I just scare them off anyway, but I wish you could have been here to photograph them. I always look forward to seeing your work.
