Hi, I’m Mikee from the UK. I have been keeping Pond Fish for about 11 years. My pond is concrete about 10ft x 10ft raised with Granite slabs. It is rubberised inside. This year I am going to build a bog filter after researching the pros and cons for about a year! At the back of my pond I had a 10ft length length concrete planter for plants and flowers. I have already turned this into a small narrow bog with waterfall. To my amazement I have enjoyed crystal clear water for about 4 weeks now. This is not the main bog. I am yet to build this. I have running at the moment a kocney koi filter and it is back breaking to clean. I am excited about the larger bog to come as I have always had green water.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bog, the only filter since I built the pond 10 years ago. The only work is yanking plants that grow like weeds!
