Sorry missed this post, glad you found what you needed. I tend to use the pl roofing goop they sell at home depot /Lowes. If put on right, ie dry surface, let it dry it lasts.

They also sell silicones that are waterproof, made to repair fish tanks etc.

The pond is only 21" deep.The liner overlap is not enough so i am gluing six inches in some places, pushing dirt under the six inches so i can add more water.
