Advice on Kockney Koi mega filter cleaning and UV bulb changing.

I have recently retired and would like to start doing more to look after my pond myself. The pond has a Kockney Koi
mega filter. The filters foams are over 2 years old and I have purchased a new set of foams but am not sure about fitting these. The UV 55 watt bulb also needs replacing as its a year old, advice on fitting this would be a great help.

Do you mean fitting the foam pads in the filter? Is cutting them not an option.
