OK so heres an update on the whole thing
i have like 2 left i think (theyre hiding)

not sending my fish
something about fees for hospital so they cant/wont send me money or a voucher for it

So basicly they told you ..we dont care if you have dead koi we have other things we want to spend are money on

I think I would focus on going forward. I wonder if UCSB can help, they lost all theirs recently to KHV, they might be able to shed some light on your situation. or you can move on.

yea basically
i cant be spending $40+ on shipping if i want to start my pond back up and im going to be going to college soon and with a part time job minimum wage thats like 3.5 hours of work

did they lose their koi too
CSU Long Beach lost their koi like a year ago
they sent them up to UC Davis to be studied and got new koi through one of their certified sources

thanks Dr Dave i might take you up one that when i get my pond staightened out

Thats a real loss for you C2 ,but starting fresh would be the best thing...

yup...starting new...im going to spend 50 to 100 on new fish...ill probably use a table spoon of chlorine for the pool to sanatize my 400gal pond. let it run through my pumps and filter media for a few days then drain it let that sit for a few days then fill it back up and dechlorinate like crazy

im also open to other ideas of how to decontaminate it

I would scrub it with a concentrated clorox solution. Then rinse it good and let it dry. chlorine is a gas, any residual will evaporate.

If your liner is EPDM, it should not change it's color. It will be very clean however which is what you want.

ok im going to pour some chlorine in tonight
let it run for a few days then drain it then scrub with bleach then drain again then fill back up and dechlorinate
sound good?
