Over the winter my pond was drained out during the coldest night we had. i made a terrible mistake and left the pump running and the line froze and broke. we got all the fish, snails and frogs out. well i thought we did. i never filled thepond back. there was about 3.5 inches of water that froze solid for several days. just yesterday i get into the pond to clean it out and i find one of my koi! that fish lived from being froze solid! how amazing is that? anyone else ever heard of this or had this happen?
