added fish to new pond about little more than 30 days ago and have been testing for ammonia and nitrite and now seeing a slight rise in ammonia (bettween 0 and 0.25 ) and nitrite is still 0, should I be concerned or just let the cycle run its coarse ? At what point should a partial water change be made?

Let it run a bit longer and keep an eye on the levels. They will suddenly drop overnight when it is ready.

You can't go wrong with a partial water change anytime. I do 10-20 percent a week whether I feel it needs it or not. DoDad does even more than this.

I agree, however many of us are on city water and don't have an umlimited supply of non chlorinated/free well water.
