Good morning,

My pond must be very healthy because I have an army of tadpoles. I am new to ponds and I don’t know what to do. I am about to get 6 goldfish and I am hoping they will eat some of them? How shall I control the frog population? At this rate I will have more than a 200 frogs 😂

Are they frogs or are they toads. Either way they won't all hang at your pond. Once they become 4 legged they move on a few will stay behind.
If frogs you can count on hawks raccoons and a host of others coming for a meal

I get tads in my small wildlife pond each year. No fish in it and the frogs seem to all move on after they have grown. A few seem to show up again in the next spring and the circle of life goes on 🥰

Before we closed our pond, I'd get TONS to toad tadpoles and just like they showed up suddenly, they left !

they will be back . I relocated a toad a couple of weeks ago in my pond and caught him and then tried to remove alot of eggs , Not sure if they were toad eggs but they were bigger and a different look than just frog eggs

Just ignore them and enjoy their transformation. No need to try to control the numbers. Nature will do that without any help.

My fish have never seemed interested in eating them, but plenty of other things do.
