Anoxic Filter Kitty Liter

Has anybody used a kittey liter brand called KITTY DIGGINS? The ingredients listed are Fuller's Earth. I soaked it and it didn't disintegrate but I just want to be certain it's ok to use it.

Another question is can laterite be used without kitty liter in an anoxic filter?

Can't comment on the kitty litter brand, but laterite can be used without kitty litter in an anoxic filter.
It's just more expensive.
