Hi , I’ve a pond in our field it’s 40ft wide x 35ft and about 8ft deep. Now I’ve never really bothered with it over the last 6 years . But now I’ve got into it I’ve put some Lillie’s in the pond and added flowering water pond plants on the edges . I’ve about 8 fish in there koi and grass carp . 1 grass carp been in there for about 10 years . There is no power to it so no pump/filters etc . To help improve my pond as I really want to get into more now is there anything I should be doing . Many thanks

Welcome @RobYoung80! Are you asking how to clarify the water? The pond looks like it has a mud bottom is that correct? And there is no way to get power to the pond?

Hi Stephen , many thanks for your reply , I do believe the pond was dug out some years ago and is a clay bottom . The water level never really goes low . I am thinking about getting power to it . But will depends on cost as it would be about 100 meter from power point to the pond . I’m just after all round advice on to help the pond an improvement all round thanks
