Aquarium plants in ponds

Anyone ever put aquarium plants in there ponds? Amazon swords or anything else?

What kind of fish do/will you keep? What is the constant temperature of your water? Those are two things i would consider before selecting pond plants.

Many aquarium plants are grown in ponds before being harvested for the pet stores. It makes sense since all aquatic plants came from outdoors originally. Try some stem plants like elodea, ludwigia and bacopa. As mentioned fish such as goldfish and koi have a taste for many plants.
