Aquascape Ecoblast Algaecide. Has Anyone Tried This?

I just happened to come across an ad for Aquascape Ecoblast Algaecide in my FB feed. It's a sprinkle-on powder that's supposed to kill string algae. The container says it's safe for fish and plants. I'm curious whether anyone has tried it and, if so, what their experience with it was.

Sorry, nope. I don't use any chemical products - I've heard too many horror stories and I care too much about my fish and plants to risk it. I just keep my trusty toilet brush handy Good luck.
