Ok, I have kept bees years ago. And these are acting just like my domestic Europe honey bees. But there’s no room in that rock crack to colonize a hive. Humm

I mostly see wasps tanking up at my pond.
Yes. First there was wasps hovering around. Than these bees came. I keep watching. A battle is soon to happen. I can post video on this page. But I got the bees coming in and out. Than two wasps land on the water poppy.

I'd say that's a honey bee and they do come to the ponds to get a drink now and then.

If they decide your pond is a good source of water, you can sit and watch them come one after the other, getting water and then flying away, all by the same path! I was watching some do this at my pond and I suddenly realized where the term "bee-line" came from!

They seem to be entering and exiting one at a time ish. I don’t know. Either way I feel I must build a hive. Thank you

Yep a bee. I have them picking certain areas of the ponds to drink, they tend to not bother you when you wander near them. They like algae, parrots feather etc. Peagravel in bogs etc.

Either someone near you has hives or there is a wild hive near you. They like water as close as possible. There are more wild hives in Florida then up here and a lot of bee keepers.

They don't tend to have a hive down low. Prefer 15 feet plus off the ground. And prefer a good sizeable space for the hive.

We have had three hives move into my hubbies old parents house. We removed two of them, one removed itself.
