back flow/anti-siphon

Look right in the center of the pic. This is so simple but I have never seen anything like it on any of the forms. It is an extremely cheap backflow/anti-siphon for your S&G filter or others where it might work.
Just a small hole above the water level in a position where it will feed into the filter, etc. When you shut your pump off, air is taken in instead of water feeding back through your pump. Hope this blesses someone! (I discovered it when I happened to use a piece of pipe with a hole already in it :confused:)

Neat then you don't suck up the muck from the bottom of the filter, back into your pond. Great opps that works out for you.
