Before buying anything !no dirt garvel and only gravel 3/8 to 3/4

I was to lazy this summer I bought the small rocks but did not take time for washing themInch

You are in a warmer zone so it seems that your pond will not freeze to the bottom. You can run your submersible pump all year long! I'm in zone 8 too so I leave mine running. I see now tho it is very small and shallow and if you think it will freeze to the bottom then you must take the pump out before it freezes.Hi everybody !
Winter is coming !
So I m affraid to mess up with my mini bog / lagoon. As in Winter the pond is frozing what should I do with the pump and when I guess I must stop it before thé very cold but can I leave it in the bottom ?
Thanks forward for the help !

No sure neither...Not sure about that one.

Maybe more plants and you can try using a plastic pot w/holes in it stuffing quilt batting in it and then running a hose from your pump to the top of that pot so water goes back into the pond clean. This is quite time consuming as you need to keep taking out the quilt batting to hose it off and do it all again. No sure neither...
I ll shut off the pump clean it and lunch it again later after freezing time.
