Barley Straw

What one is better Barley straw or extract. i cant find any straw any where neer me just online and i can get barley extract from the local co-op

The extarct works faster because you don't have to wait for the straw to start breaking down to release the humic acid (I think that's what it is).The barley straw can take up to several weeks to become effective.

humic acids is correct.. they then slowly turn into peroxide...peroxide is the actual active chemical. the breakdown and fermentation process can take 2 months depending on water temp and sun exposure, along with bacteria and enzime content.

so the extrace is easyer and faster, i belived it said ad once a week a certain amount per gal

Yes it is easier. Just follow the direction on the bottle.
