Being such a pleasent sunny day I took a walk to our pond. Now that the last of this seasons tree folliage has fallen I could not help but notice how lovely the golden hue of the leafs on the ponds bottom looked through the crystal clear water. I'll be getting a new pond bottom leaf scoop net soon so those beautiful leafs will be taken out. My scooped pond leafs will find a new home as mulch for wifey's perineal lily bed. :)

Oh Lou your wifes plants will love that sweet treat for sure! I try to rake all the leaves into the flower beds to cover them up for the winter cold like a big warm blanket B)
