Best lightweight liner to bring to Costa Rica?

We are building a pond with a bog and stream in Costa Rica. I need to bring the liner down. If we seam it at the smallest spot in the stream I would need two pieces, 15x15 & 25x30. EPDM is so heavy and would need a few seams. Is a lighter mil an option? PVC doesn’t seem to fit sunny CR. I’m wondering about LLDPE? I hear it’s stiff to work with. I might be able to bring it down in one piece...one overweight bag).
Love your thoughts! Thx!

Why not just have it shipped directly? That much of ANY kind of liner is going to be incredibly heavy.

I agree w/ @Lisak1 shipping would be easier. If you can't do that then maybe lay it under whatever stuff you are bring but make sure it is well protected w/lots of soft covering to keep holes from being worn into it from whatever sits on top of it. Maybe put a large piece of board over the coverings on top of liner.

It seems much simpler but delivery where we live is unreliable and the import tax is high. Thought it would simplify. Is anyone familiar with a LLDPE liner? Still figuring it out. Thx!

Here's the thing - even a roll of the lightest weight material you can think of at almost 1000 sq ft (if my math is right) is going to be heavy. Try lifting a bolt of cotton fabric for example. Any kind of liner that's strong enough to be used in a pond is going to be unwieldy at those sizes. There is NO WAY you'll be able to fit it in a bag of any kind. I have a piece of leftover liner that's about 4x6 and it's bulky and almost too heavy for me to move on my own. I basically have to drag it if I want to move it.

I've never heard of the material you're asking about, but again - if it's strong enough for a pond, it's going to be heavy.
