Who makes the best/most comprehensive/accurate water test kit ?

Who here uses barley bails to control water quality, how does the decomposition of the bail effect the water?

API liquid tests are great. Just check the expiration date before purchase.
I have used barley straw and it slowly works. But really, the best thing is to plant heavily and you won't need it. And, that is the best way to go. But since you asked, yes, barley straw works over a period of months.
