well, it rains a bit there, no? And I've heard tales of such so the 17th should still be in the running!

On a more serious note, DON'T fill with only rain as there'll be a lot of amending for you to do what with raising the KH etc. Better to have the rain help (plus, rain tends to be acidic, so...ask @addy1 how THAT worked out for her before you go depending only on rain!)

The Stilly is just down the hill from us! Glad we are up on the hill as that river can overflow it's banks whenever we get lots of rain and snow melts.
