BEWARE of calponds!

I like to support local businesses when I can, and a google search pointed me to California Ponds & Water Gardens (calponds). Ordered quite a bit of stuff from them, as I was working on an overhaul of my filtering system... WHAT A MISTAKE! First of all, they're not pond specialists. They're a subsidiary of a company called Legendary Sales, and they just work with various vendors. Guess what? After they took my money, there was zero communication... no package tracking info, no updates, no reply to my emails requesting that info. Finally found an internal email address and wrote them again, only to be told "It's on its way from two different warehouses." No information on when I could expect it, etc. even when I replied and specifically asked that question. Then there were items missing, and complete radio silence. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card for the missing portion of the order. Wish I would have given my business to someone else!
