Had to send this one forward. One of those beautiful miracles given us each day and which are mostly lost.
A brief moment that renews our spirit and gives joy to the heart.
Kinda 'makes your day doesn't it ?

This tiny deer was delivered by Caesarean section at a Wildlife hospital after a car killed his mother.

Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adult's hand, was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother.
~

At just 6" tall and weighing just over a pound, he is now in an incubator in the intensive care unit at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire. He has only recently opened his eyes.

Les Stocker, founder of Tiggywinkles, said, "Rupert's mother had very severe injuries. We brought him out and got him breathing, and then he went into an incubator on oxygen. He is now being fed by a tube."

Staff members are optimistic that Rupert, now 5 days old, will make a full recovery.
"Deer are very, very tricky, but this one has spirit. He's an extremely feisty,
Little guy and quite pushy," Mr. Stocker said.
~

Asleep: Rupert takes 40 winks.

Hope you will share this one.

I have woods behind my house the deer stay there every winter and spring I buy 12 bails of straw and 4 of hay and put it out there and cut the strings on them and let them bed down for the winter and have a comfy place to have there babes in the spring .I put corn out there and a salt block and barrels I keep fresh water in .I have counted six pregnant deer so far and they always bring the babies out here by my property .I bought the sheriff signs to post all over my woods to keep hunters away .Aslo a warning sign from WARNING I HAVE A GUN TOO HUNTERS BEWARE I WILL NOT HESITATE TO SHOOT YOU ,Part of the woods belong to the farmer behind me and last year someone killed one of his cows .He's guessing hunters or teens .

Koiguy, Miracles! I ditto that. From time to time, we've witnessed great miracles of the Almighty. Here's another example:

Coca-cola babies are being born every few minutes! An 1/2-foot-coke-baby will grow to 6 feet tall, miracle !
