I guess they want the date onfile for there records .I printed 2 out of all 3 pumps and put them in different files plus I left a copy stored on my puter and flash drive .It is safer that way .I thought there would be something in the box but all that was in there was how to do it online

Thanks Sissy for the info on the warranty.

I bought the same pump too j.w. from ebay, they have it on sale then, dont know how much it is now (dont wan to look and get mad if it's less than what i bought!!) I thought I got a pretty good deal anyway.
I wont be using it until I build my new pond, next year, so I'm keeping mine safe in the house :)

Ok maybe I will get a card, we will see but thanks again sissy for the heads up.
Nepen I'm not going to look at prices anymore either and I did get it on sale at Webb's online. I'll just be happy w/what I paid and leave it at that. I'm gonna stick mine in a bucket or something to make sure mine works now if I plan on leaving it sit till Spring. I don't know tho I might get brave before that and hook it up out in the pond if we get a warm enough dry day.

If I try mine in water I will just take it out and put it somewhere where it cannot freeze. In my computer room maybe. Only freezing would hurt it I believe.

I've had the Laguna maxflo 4200 for about 3 years now and it is great. The quick release connector makes it super easy to get it out of the pond so you can clean it. The cage is a little squirrely to get open the first time but once you do you get the hang of it.

Cool thanks for letting me know. I've heard others really like it too.
