Black baby fish

Hi everyone just a quick question about my pond fish I have 6 goldfish 1shAbu kin and 1 ghost koi 1baby goldfish and 6 black baby goldfish is this normal I’ve had my pond 2 yrs thanks in advance

You mean to have babies, sure love is in the air. And goldfish start out black and then slowly turn oj or whatever color the parents combo was. Sometimes it takes them a long time to turn and sometimes not. Koi and goldfish can breed together to make half breeds. Same w/Shubunkin goldfish.

Yep I've had some stay black for years and then all of a sudden they start to turn, some even turned pretty white, pink or yellowish colors.

Thanks ,one of the babies is whiteish and also yesterday I went out to feed them and on top of the water was a worm like thing whiteish in colour two of them so I scooped them up they didn’t move or wriggle and I threw them in the bin any ideas anybody.

Also I’ve just changed the bulb in the pump and it was very clean but last time I changed it last year it was dirty confused.com

I think you are talking about UV bulbs?
If so

Yes how come it wasn’t dirty do you think it wasn’t working properly

Someone else will have to help you w/this one. I don't have uv lights.
