Black Bears!

These are not photos of our koi pond, but thought we would share them anyway. These two black bears helped themselves to the bird feeders and suet hanging on our front porch. We found one metal bird feeder across the street in our neighbor's driveway. It was mostly OK. Another was composite plastic and it was destroyed.

We get black bears all the time here in northeastern PA. They are gorgeous animals with beautiful brown faces. Those photos are screen captured from a security camera video. It's cool watching a video of these beasts wandering around our front door. The crazy thing is... my wife came home just minutes after they left. I guess they got scared when she pulled into the driveway. You obviously don't want to walk up and corner them on the porch.

They are awfully cute! Yes, they are wild animals and must be respected as such - could be dangerous - all that. But still -- SO CUTE! ;):)
