Black water from broken charcoal bag

My pond water has turned black and in looking into it my charcoal bag is gone. Is this dangerous to the fish and what do I do about it.

Probably not dangerous to the fish. I don’t know if quilt batting would work but it’s cheap and worth a try?

Quilt batting will help but it will also settle out . no harm
