I have a blagdon affinity and it is maturing well by the looks of things, fish are more active after 6 weeks.
I have tested the water and all is ok but the colour of the water is getting greener. I have fresh water plants and lillys in the pond. The uv light and filter is working.
Is this ok ?

Part of the maturing process of a new pond, (ie new pond syndrome) it will clear on its own as long as your pond stays in balance.

I'd nix the UV personally. Give the pond a chance to balance on it's own. The UV will kill single cell floating algae, but it also kills every other single cell creature and organism in your pond that passes by the UV, which you actually want to encourage. And leaves you with dead algae in your system which then feeds more algae.

Just one ponders opinion!

I have no use for a U.V light. Pond does fine w/o it.

Hello and welcome!

Agree, get rid of the UV, be patient and let Mother Nature do her job. More plants will help — plants with roots in direct contact with the water. Water lilies are great for shading, but the don’t contribute much to removing nutrients.
