Be safe addy and do you have a basement? When we lived in Michigan we had a basement and when the sirens would go off I would take the kids and cats down there and DH would lay up in bed on the top floor above the living area and ignore it all

We have a basement, so i keep track of my yorkie, so i can grab her and run if need be. We are not in a high hit area, the last warning the tornado touched down about 8miles from here.

Ah, we are near the foothills of the mountains too and so we get colder weather here and lots of wind to remind us when the weather is going to change.

We could run this house with a windmill, constant wind. It is an indicator of pressure changes.
