Wow really nice! I have a bunch of nesting blue birds this year, put up houses they like to live in, finally had some use them. They are so much fun to watch when they go after bugs

Nice pic. Such pretty birds.
Don't see them here often enough. Only had them nest here once. Put up houses for them but a lot of times the sparrows beat em to it.

I put up 40 some bird houses, they really like the community ones I got from tractor supply store, choose the top small hole. I had two nesting in my homemade ones.

Wow Addy that's a lot of birdhouses. Those birdies probably think they are in bird paradise at your place. :) I need to add more birdhouses too.
Thought I might try to build some this winter from some scrap lumber. My hubby always wants to burn all his wood scrap and I go and steal it from his burn piles for future use. Drives him crazy. :)

I made them out of fence pickets. All for wren, blue bird and smaller bird sizes. We get a ton of cardinals, robins, but they don't use bird houses. We are pretty darn bug free due to the birds, frogs, dragon flies

You never burn scrap wood! it is so good for so many things lol

Thanks for the comments. I work real hard here to get them to nest. A constant battle with the house sparrows. I had 40+ fledglings over 10 years so far. They love meal worms :)

I just let what nests nest, no real attempt to get one or the other bird to stick around, but sure was tickled to see the blue birds nesting.
