BOG Lumber Question

I am making a bog similar the one pictured. My dimensions will be roughly 4 feet wide and about 30 inches in depth. With a 18 inch height. My question should I use 4x4's or can I use 2x6's?

I would use the 4x4s, the 2x6 will bow out eventually.

I third the motion but I would add if your in a cold climate or excessively hot area i would go deeper then 18 inches
