Bottom feeders

Hello,
I was wondering what other pond fish might be recommended for cleaning the pond (similar to aquarium algae eaters) that are cold weather hardy. Also recommendations for other varieties of fish for interest-sake. I have goldfish and the white and orange goldfish currently.

Maybe snails but I don't know of any fish for cold water cleaning, like for algae. Why do you need them? If it's long hairy type algae, best thing to do is just remove it w/a clean toilet brush when it bugs you. The short carpet algae that grows on the sides of our ponds is good to have. Just leave it be.

Thank you- not looking for cold water cleaning, but cold hardy so they will live through the winter. good idea about the toilet brush! thanks!
