I broke down and bought a uv filter, actually the wife talked me into it. the pond went green when the pollen hit. So 4 days later and it went from green to clean. have to say i was a bit amazed.
the only thing i don't get is the uv is pondmaster and so is the pump and the recomended size of pipe for the pump is 1 1/2" and the uv has 1". its a 20 watt uv rated for 3000 gal ponds at 1800 gph pump. my pump is only 1200 gph. So i'm just gonna tee it off with some valves so i can turn it off once the lillies get going.
