Brown tinge to water

Hi there, I’ve just built a pond out of oak sleepers, currently has no fish in but the filter and UV are running. Has anyone had a problem with the oak leaching into the water giving a light brown tinge?

Welcome to the forum. It is normal to get tannins leaching from wood submerged in water.
