Bubbles in pond

Hello I have a 1000 gal fish pond. Is it necessary to have Bubbles in the pond so the fish have enough oxygen?

Surface area and surface agitation are important. If you have adequate surface agitation, say via a waterfall, you can get by without bubbles — for a smallish pond. Larger ponds = more surface area so need more surface water movement. But on the bright side, bubbles can only help.
