Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to build a bog/waterfall combination. We have all sand which makes it difficult to build a bowl as I have to build a front wall to hold back the water and pea gravel.

That upper part can be used as a bog.
Not sure what you mean when you say you have sand. Is your soil sandy?
We don’t have soil. Just sand. It makes digging easy but the building of shelves a little dicey as you can get sloughing.
My thought was to build a mini pond above our main pond which I’ll turn into a bog. The water from the bog will drop as a waterfall into a stream. I figure I’ll have to augment the stream with a second pump.

Welcome to the forum!

That will work fine, my bog waterfalls into the pond, but could have waterfalled into a stream.
