Buying or selling a house with a pond

For those of you who sold a house with a pond in your yard were potential buyers concerned about it, the up keep etc? Was it ever a deal breaker?

For those of you who bought a house with a pond were you concerned about it when deciding to buy the house? Did it make you want to buy it?

Sold three houses with ponds, nobody seemed to worry about them.

I would think the answer would probably split on that .This house I'm buying has a pond did not .but then I already had a pond

Our house had an enoormous pond- it was used for his dogs to swim in. He had a huge pool filter and used to throw bleach in. About three weeks after we moved in all we did was keep the filter going and 2 frogs appeared. When we bought the house we were so excited about the out buildings that we didn't give much thought to anything else. We have for our area a pretty big piece of property, that was the most daunting. We thought we would not do any fish, but I think it was June the first year we bout our first comets and shubbies. Then plants, then new filter, etc. Never thought when we looked at the house we would ever be fishkeepers.

Bleach I would think that would harm the liner .Funny how one thing leads to another .Suddenly you become mom and dad to scaled swimmers ,that give more joy than they take lol SURPRISE SURPRISE and now your hooked
