Do you have plants or anything that would allow him to hide? Given his color, he may be hiding.

OK, calm down. we're trying to help you. Plecostomus ARE very good at hiding, as someone else said.

When did you put it in your pond? When was the last time you saw it? How big is it? Are there any other fish? Are there plants in the pond? Do you have any rocks in the bottom of the pond?

These questions have already been asked, as well as a few others, but if you could take a second and answer them again, and all at the same time. Can you show us a picture of you pond?

Even if you find him, Plecos are surprisingly fast,I had to drain my pond to get mine out.
