I understand that there is a method posted that you can overlap one liner over another however I was worried because there wasnt enough elevation in my stream to use this.
I used the following method without any leaks and cost about 7 dollars without having to clean the liners.
1) Both liners were about 36 in wide each to connect...
2) I had some 3/4 corrugated tubing left over i cut to about 48 in
3) I inserted 9 guage wire and doubled it inside (i.e. 2 pieces of the wire were inserted
4) I rolled the bottom/top layer of the liner over the flex tubing to to create a decent sized roll...this connects the tubing and prevents the leaks
5) The wire inside simply reinforced the strength of the tubing
6) Placed a few rocks on top of the connection
No leaking thus far.....if you really want to be sure you could pick up a pool repair vinyl kit at home depot and put that between each piece prior to rolling them together you will just need to make sure each piece of liner is cleaned off
