Chippy/Deer Guard

I winter my pot w/ hens and chicks in my garage, first day I put it out the deer munched it. Then chippy goes in there daily and nibbles on them. I can’t believe how fast they recovered, about a month after I made this screen guard From some
scrap plastic wood
