Knowing I would be stuck at home (immunocompromised) we ordered a pond liner about 3 weeks ago. Its a 270 gallon preformed liner. I had to make due with what else we had available since we couldn't go to the store for supplies...plants etc. Had a few bumps in the road (irrigation pipe forced me to relocate) it seems to have come out ok. Let me know if you see any issues. I did just put in a larger pump and filter today but no pictures yet. We had the pump in the pictures in a very small liner pond we replaced.

Great work! What is that fabric that you laid in there? And it's purpose?
I think it is a product I've seen The Pond Advisor use. It gives a little textured surface for frogs and other critters to grip onto. (If I'm not mistaken.)

Yes it is called Rock on a Roll. they are very easy to work with and actually pick up the phone and we'll talk to you about your project. we ran a little short or it would have looked a little cleaner but we'll take care of that after things get back to normal

Oh, I've seen that online before. It almost looked like some sort of felt at first, but after zooming in again, I think I'm seeing a pattern that is meant to resemble rock. Cool. Nicer than seeing just plain black plastic.

You'll be so happy you made the decision you did. Every day I tell my wife how happy I am to have built our pond. I'm out there 4 or 5 times a day, every day, sometimes cleaning, sometimes "fixing" things, sometimes feeding the fish, usually just being there, doing nothing at all. It's a real gift to have waterfalls and fish to soothe you during these extraordinary times. No need to travel--just walk out the back door, and you're in another world. Fish are the most gentle, unconcerned-with-the-world creatures imaginable. And now you've got your own little backyard teleportal.
